Hello Friends,
We take pride in intimating you about the Third National Technical Festivalof Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology,Nanded.Today, twenty-five years since its establishment in 1981 by the Governmentof Maharashtra on 100 percent Grant in Aid, the institute has strength ofaround 2000 UG/PG students and is rated among the best performinginstitutions in Maharashtra. Recommended by TCS for IIT status, theinstitute was granted autonomy along with VJTI, UDCT Mumbai and COEP,Pune, from July 2004 and was granted UGC autonomy in the year 2005. In thesame year it was also accredited by NBA, AICTE. It was also selected as anetwork institution under TEQIP project of Govt. of India.

Pragyaa 2007 - the third national level event, is being held from February 23, Friday to February 25, Sunday. Pragyaa is expected toattract an immense number of participants; people with diverse technical,scientific and managerial backgrounds, ranging from college students tograduates, from academicians to professionals, from design engineers tomanagers. Besides cultivating technical or managerial skills of students,the event will provide a one-stage platform to bring together the diverseintelligence from all over the country. The event was associated with sponsors like Bharat Forge, Tata Consultancy Services, Persistent, HP Invent, Metatech and New Holland Tractors lastyear. This year the names include Bharat Forge, TEQIP, DTE (Maharashtra) and many
